Ever pray for something and God doesn’t give the answer you want or maybe you don’t see or hear His answer? He always answers heartfelt prayers, but often times the answer requires you to look at what surrounds you. Sometimes the answer is in plain sight.
We’ve discussed in past posts how some of the lost are waiting for God’s voice before they accept the truth of His Word. Read related post. Yet, God has placed the witness (witness = His answer to what you seek) right in front of you! Coincidence? Nope.
There are no coincidences when it comes to God. We may feel frustrated and confused as we try to understand what the answer is … but the answer is there. Jeremiah 29:11-13 - "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12 ... and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart."
The featured song today is an example of time endured, his earthly feeling of broken heartedness and failure ... all the while the singer is aware and grateful of the consequences in his life.
Look for God in all things; look for where He may be leading you.
When you pray, trust and embrace God before you ever think about holding onto anything else on this earth. There is no such thing as an unanswered prayer, it's our perception that causes that view.
