God made us for so much more than "ordinary". If we only knew how much He loves us, we would thirst for more of Him! Get in a quiet place today and ask Him to fill your heart and flood your soul with one desire--to know Him and make Him known. John 17:25a-26a - "O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee … 26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare [it]…”
Joy Unspeakable, Faith Unsinkable, Love Unstoppable, Anything is possible! His Living Water will never run dry! John 4:14 - “But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”
Satan wants to destroy you! He will discourage you and tell you you’re not worth it; you’re not lovable; you’ve sinned too much for God to accept you. NO! God DOES love you, He made you and sent His Son to die for you! Don’t believe the lies! Tell satan to get out and if you haven’t already, accept Jesus’ gift in order to spend eternity with Him in heaven. John 10:10 - “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
Christ-follower, it is time to claim God’s promises! James 4:8 says, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” Verse 10 continues, “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” Notice it starts with us drawing near to God first, then He will draw near to us. We are to humble ourselves, then He will lift us up. It takes effort but it is nothing in comparison to what God has already done for us!
