What the Bible Says
Today’s song is called ‘What the Bible Says’ so we thought it best to let the Bible speak for itself in today’s message. Enjoy the beauty of God’s Holy Word and the upbeat song with great performance by The Collingsworth Family.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” (2Timothy 3:16) “… Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” (Psalms 119:105) “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” (Romans 15:4) “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17) “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1) “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” (Matthew 24:35) “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11) “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (Joshua 1:8)
Sadly, this passage of Scripture is being fulfilled … “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” (2Timothy 4:3-4) Are you reading God’s Holy Word or a watered-down ‘version’ of it?
If God said it, that settles it!
