There's a grace when the heart is under fire, another way when the walls are closing in. With Jesus, I know I will never be alone. There was Another in the waters, holding back the seas and there’s Another in the fire standing next to me. Should I ever need reminding of how I've been set free, there’s a Cross that bears the burden where Jesus died for me. He is above all others and stands in the fire with me! Zephaniah 3:17 - “The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.” Romans 6:23 - “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Psalms 16:8 - “I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.” Isaiah 43:1-2 – “But now thus saith the LORD that created thee … Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. 2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”
When Jesus saved me, I could almost hear the roar in the heavens and feel the ground shake as the prison walls caved in! All my debt is left for dead; I'm no longer a slave to my sin. Should I fall, I won't bow to the things of this world 'cause there is an empty grave and now His Power lives in me! I can see the Light in the darkness as the darkness bows to Him! I count the joy come every battle ‘cause I know my Jesus will be right there in the fire with me.
