Time. We all have the same 24/7-365 but it seems as though time passes quicker as we age. As today’s song indicates, when Christ-followers look back at life through spiritual eyes we can see God was with us and blessed us even when we didn’t see it in the moment.
Lyrics: Forty in the blink of an eye … got me staring up at the star-filled sky and reflecting on my life. Seems a little crazy to say, but I'm thankful everything didn't go my way because every time I thought I knew what I was looking for, Jesus came and showed me something that I'd never seen before. Now I see God’s fingerprints on everything! No worries about what tomorrow's gonna bring because I know that everything God does is even better than my wildest dreams! I’ve had my share of bumps in the road but I'm learning to fly as the story unfolds. Every single turn of the page is a beautiful reminder that Jesus is setting the stage. Looking back, it's easy to see how He lit up my path every step of the way. I'm so thankful that I can trust where He leads. He is so, so good to me … so much better than my wildest dreams!

For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” Psalms 90:12 -“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” Proverbs 16:9 - “A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.” Friend, life is short. Make amends, right your wrongs. Forgive and ask for forgiveness. Live to the fullest, always putting God first. The Almighty put us here to make a difference … for His kingdom. Are you living out God’s purpose in your life? It is never too late to start … the retirement benefits are out of this world … beyond our wildest dreams!
