Every Starry Night
The weather here in Missouri can be very unpredictable at times, but the month of June almost always brings warmth and sunshine and beautiful starry nights.
Take a moment at least one night this month to go outside and gaze at the stars, keeping in mind that God breathed those balls of burning fire into existence. He knows how many there are and He calls them all by name! Psalms 147:4 - “He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.” Scientists say The Milky Way galaxy alone is said to have an estimated 100-200 billion stars. And that’s just in one galaxy out of an estimated 100-200 billion galaxies! Bible verses about Stars.
First Corinthians Chapter 15 speaks of the resurrection and uses the sun, moon and stars for describing heavenly glory. 1Corinthians 15:41 - “There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.” There is a variety of glory among heavenly bodies. The dead in Christ shall not only rise, but shall rise thus gloriously changed; they will be spiritual bodies and will dwell in heaven for eternity.
From the birds that sing in the tallest trees, To the human life of you and me; From the desert sands to the place we stand, He's God of all, He is everything! I'm giving my life to the only One Who makes the moon reflect the sun, Every starry night … that was His design. I'm giving my life to the only Son Who was and is and yet to come. Let the praises ring, 'cause He is everything!
It was a star that led the wise men from the east to Jerusalem where the Christ child was.
Even the sun, moon and stars praise our Lord! Psalms 148:3 - “Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.” We hope you enjoy every starry night!
