Give Me Your Eyes

God sees things from a spiritual perspective; we see things from a physical perspective. God’s ways are much higher than ours. Have you ever tried to look at things the way God might see them? What if He were to give us His eyes to see everything we keep missing? What if He were to give us His Love for humanity, His arms for the broken-hearted, His heart for the ones forgotten?

Isaiah 55:9 - “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Jeremiah 32:17-19 – “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, [and] there is nothing too hard for thee: 18 Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, [is] his name, 19 Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes [are] open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:” Romans 11:33 - “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!”

God has given us a way … Jesus Christ is the way. Once we become His child, we are Christians … we are to follow His steps and walk as Jesus walked. As you go about your day today, try to look at things from God’s perspective … perhaps be more compassionate, more loving, more giving, more understanding with those you come in contact with. Mail a card to someone who is ill, go out of your way to help your neighbor. Jesus is worth it all!
