Imagine being Mary, the mother of the Son of God! The sweet child she held in her arms, rocked to sleep, sang to, fed and cared for with a love beyond all comprehension … is perfection personified, holiness, the giver of life, the Saviour of the world! Imagine hearing her story someday …
Luke 1:30-31 – “And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.”
My beautiful boy, Holiness I see;
Perfect, so pure.
Your eyes, they trust in me.
All creation bows to You,
the skies sing Your arriving.
My precious gift from God,
showing all mankind the only way to life.
All creation sings Your praise,
the glory of God shines for all to see
the Son of God, the Son of man.
You are perfection promised,
giver of life for all eternity.
My little one … perfect love.Some have difficulty understanding that the same baby Jesus, born of the virgin Mary, is God in the flesh. In the Book of Matthew, God Himself explains Who Emmanuel, the Christ child, is:
Matthew 1:23 - “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”
God explained this truth to help us understand that this Christ child is ‘God with us.’ Jesus is an absolute Oneness with God, the ‘very God of very God.’
It is also important to understand that the Bible was written by holy men of God who spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.) Men didn’t author the Bible, they penned (wrote down) the very words of God as the Holy Ghost gave them.
