It is often the “little” things in life that we all tend to take for granted … but are really the most important when all is said and done. When was the last time you thanked God for the roof over your head, a bed to sleep in, food on your table and shoes on your feet? And the biggest blessing of all … when was the last time you thanked God for His Love?
1Thessalonians 5:16-18 – “Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” Psalms 50:14 - “Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:” Psalms 100:4 - “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” Ephesians 1:3 - “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:” Psalms 144:15b - “… yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.”
While the world looks upon me, as I struggle alone, they say I have nothing, but they are so wrong! In my heart I'm rejoicing, how I wish they could see! Thank you Lord, for your blessings on me! There's a roof up above me, I've a good place to sleep; there's food on my table and shoes on my feet. You gave me Your Love, Lord, and a fine family. Thank you Lord, for your blessings on me! I know I'm not wealthy, and these clothes, they're not new. I don't have much money, but Lord I have You! That's all that matters, though the world may not see. Thank you Lord, for your blessings on me!
