Friend, I know that look you're giving, like you've got something to prove, 'cause I have walked for miles and miles in that same pair of shoes. You refuse forgiveness, like it's something to be earned. Sometimes pain is the only way that we can learn. You can never fall too hard, so fast, so far that you can't get back when you're lost. Where you are is never too late, so bad, so much that you can't change who you are.
Ephesians 1:6-7 – “To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;” Ephesians 2:8-9 – “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.” 2Corinthians 5:17 - “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Galatians 5:1 - “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”
You believe in freedom, but you don't know how to choose. You’ve got to step out of your feelings that you're so afraid to lose. It's not always easy, but it's worth fighting for. So come back from wherever you've been and lay it all at the foot of the Cross. Jesus loves you and will make you new. He paid the ransom for your sin and gave His life for you! Accept His precious gift and He will change who you are.
