It is settled, I am certain, in my heart and in my mind. Someday I'll pass the glory curtain and leave this world behind. I'll stand with the immortal, with the happy land in view and I'll journey through the portal down the golden avenue. I'm gonna leave for heaven someday, Yes, I am! Are you?
John 14:2-3 - "In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also." Philippians 3:20-21a - "For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: 21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body..." (conversation=citizenship) 2Timothy 1:9a - “Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace...”
Waiting, listening closely for the call ... I've made my reservation with Jesus, Who paid it all. Not by my might or power, but in Christ's. Praise the Lord, someday I'm going home ... Yes, I am!
