Through the doubt and the fear of this life, I believe in God. In the fight, in the war for my heart, there is peace because I know that His grace is a well that won’t run dry. For all He’s done for me, I will gladly take up my cross and lay down my life for Him. I say “Yes!”
Hebrews 3:12 - “Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.” 1John 4:18 - “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” 2Timothy 2:1 - “Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” Matthew 16:24 - “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” Matthew 10:38 - “And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.” 2Corinthians 2:14 - “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.”
I say “Yes” to all that God wants for me, to all that He is. In the loss, in the tears, in the hurt, He is warmth. Every hope, every dream, every prayer … make them Yours, Lord. I will go where You want me to go, I will love how You want me to Love, I will stand when You want me to stand. I say “Yes!”
Friend, you can run from God, but you can’t outrun Him. Eternal life through Jesus Christ isn’t a reward for good people … it is God’s gift to forgiven people. Say “Yes” to God and spend eternity with Him!
