Ever wonder what your purpose is in life? why God put you on this earth? The Bible tells us in the first book of the New Testament – Matthew 28:19-20 – “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” God has a job for us, a purpose, and He promises to be with us to the end. This command is not just for pastors, it is for every single one of us! You and I are commanded to share the good news of Jesus! Baptism explained
God gave us the “Three T’s” – time, talents, treasures – and He wants them back! We are to use our Three T’s for God’s glory. Our time is perhaps the most valuable, for without it we couldn’t share our talents or treasures. As Matthew 28:19-20 above says, God wants us to teach everyone about His saving grace and He says to keep His commandments (there are more than 10). In order to teach, we must first learn ... study to show thyself approved … and keep His Word in our heart so when the opportunity arises, we can lead others to The Rock that is higher.
2Samuel 22:47 - “The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.” Psalms 89:26 - “He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.” Psalms 61:2 - “From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”
