My Portion

Hello, friend! Today’s song encourages us that Jesus is not only our Saviour, He’s our portion … He is all we need! He’s our Redeemer, our Great Reward, our Endless Treasure, Blessed Assurance, our Hope, our Joy, The Word! Alleluia, Amen! The world will fail us, but He never will. Declare His works and saving grace to someone today!

I see Thy hand, my Saviour; It guides me day by day. I know that Thou art with me through all my pilgrim ways. Yet no thought so precious, so full of joy to me is this: Thou art my portion and shalt forever be! Hallelujah, what a Saviour! My Redeemer, my Reward! Hallelujah, Endless Treasure, my Delight forevermore! For past and present blessing, I thank Thee, gracious Lord. I reverence every precept and promise in Thy Word. Oh, this sweet assurance is more than all to me! Jesus, You are my portion and shalt forever be! Psalms 73:26-28 – “My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. 27 For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee. 28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.” (Read Psalms Chapter 73 here) Lamentations 3:24 - “The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.” Psalms 142:5-6 – “I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living. 6 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.” Isaiah 43:11 - “I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.” Luke 2:11 - “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” Genesis 15:1 - “… the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.”

My heart, my flesh, may fail … still, Lord, You are my portion. What wealth untold is mine! What pure and priceless treasure, not earthly but divine! My soul is in Thy keeping; my life is hid with Thee. Lord Jesus, You are my portion and shalt forever be! Hallelujah, What a Saviour!
