What a Beautiful Name
Lord, You were the Word at the beginning, One with God the Lord Most High. Your hidden glory in creation now revealed in You, our Christ. You didn't want heaven without us so You brought heaven down. Our sin was great, Your Love was greater! What a beautiful Name … The Name of Jesus Christ, our King! John 1:1 - “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Matthew 1:23b - “… and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” Philippians 2:9 – “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:” 2Thessalonians 1:12 - “That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
The heavens are roaring the praise of Your glory for You are raised to life again! You have no rival, You have no equal; now and forever, God, You reign! Yours is the Kingdom, Yours is the glory, Yours is the Name above all names. What a powerful Name it is … Jesus Christ.
