"She had a ring of gold & a three year old, and a house with a wooden fence. The doctors tried and her family cried because it didn't make no sense. But somewhere deep inside, she knew God knew better; so in the middle of the night by the dim night light, she started her letter. It said … 'Don't give up right before the miracle, don't let this world turn you cold and cynical. Find a man who will hold your hand and loves you for you, And for heaven's sake you'll make mistakes, but whatever you do, keep looking up. Take these words write 'em on your heart. Let your Light shine through the dark, and when you think you've had enough, keep looking up.'
“Well, she got the note that her mama wrote on the day she turned 11. On the envelope she read the words, 'To my little girl, from heaven.' She couldn't remember the smell of her skin, oh but on that night it was like she was holding her again.”
What a touching story, for a little girl to lose her Mama … and for the Mama to know she will soon be passing on to glory and leaving her loved ones behind. None of us are promised tomorrow … not everyone is given the time to write such a letter. We need to be ready to meet Jesus now, before we leave this earth. Heaven or hell? The Bible says we are born into the devil’s family, that we are of our father the devil, so hell and the lake of fire is the default if we don’t choose Jesus (details below). Don’t delay … it is the most important decision you will ever make … your eternal life depends on it!
Deuteronomy 30:19-20 – “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: 20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days …” Matthew 6:33-34 – “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself ...” John 8:44 - “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” John 1:29 - “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”
