Do you sometimes feel as if you’ve sinned so much that God wouldn’t even consider accepting you into heaven? Have you done things you know are wrong, some of which you just can’t seem to stop, no matter how hard you try? Friend, Jesus loves you just the way you are … broken, hurting, lost, ashamed. His forgiveness is more than the drops in the ocean! He will help you, He will make you new!
Psalms 32:1 - “… Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.” 2Corinthians 5:17 - “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Ephesians 4:32 - “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.” Colossians 1:12-15 – “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:” Romans 8:31 - “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”
Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life but we are all sinners. He loves us so much He left the splendor of heaven to save our souls! We are all undeserving of His gift of eternal life, yet He offers it to us anyway. Have you accepted His gift?
