Into the Sea

We all go through times where we wonder if God is still there, if He is still good, or if He still loves us just the way we are, imperfect and broken. Maybe we haven’t included Him in our life and feel undeserving of His love, or maybe we’ve been blaming Him for something that didn’t go the way we think it should have; maybe we’ve lost someone special or perhaps we’ve just been busy “being religious” instead of really knowing Him as Saviour. No matter the reason, God is still God and He loves you! The same mountain-moving, water-walking, sea-parting God Who created you will never let you down. He’ll meet you where you are if you will just put your faith and trust in Him. You do your part and He’ll do His!

Hebrews 11:1 - “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Jeremiah 17:7 - “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.” Luke 11:28 - “… blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.” Psalms 118:8 - “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.” Romans 8:38-39 – “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Psalms 46:1-3 – “… God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.”

Song Lyrics: “My heart is breaking in a way I never thought it could. My mind is racing with the question, "Are You still good?" Can You make something from the wreckage? Would You take this heart and make it whole again? Though the mountains may be moved into the sea, though the ground beneath might crumble and give way, I can hear my Father singing over me, "It's gonna be OK, it's gonna be OK." I've blamed myself, and if I'm honest, maybe I've blamed You, too; but You would not forsake me 'cause only good things come from You. From beginning to the end, You're so close; You have never let me down and you won't. In the valley, in the shadow, I know You're so close and I'm gonna be OK.”

It’s all gonna be OK! Mark 9:23 - “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”
