A recent post on the beautiful Name of Jesus brought us to today’s new gospel song. Not only is the name of Jesus beautiful, there is power in His name! He came, He died, He rose again … we believe for it! He is a mountain-mover, chain-breaker, sea-parter, miracle-worker ... He’s the way when there seems to be no way. His Word is our authority and we trust in Him. If God said it, we believe it!
Philippians 2:9-11 – “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” 1Corinthians 15:3-4 – “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” Matthew 17:20 – “… for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” John 5:26-27 – “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; 27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.” John 14:11 - “Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.”

Believe for it! You’ve heard the phrase, “If God said it, I believe it, that settles it.” We can have complete confidence in the authority of God’s Holy Word, our “user manual” for life on earth.
